Fairview New Homes Acquires Five Acre Woolwich Site

Fairview New Homes has completed the purchase of the former Gallions View Care Home in Woolwich in an unconditional deal.

The former care home closed in 2019 and the site is now vacant. Fairview will work with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to bring forward a residential scheme of approximately 350 new apartments across the five acre site.

This is Fairview’s third acquisition in Greenwich in recent years and follows the delivery of 125 apartments at Maritime on Greenwich High Road and 330 apartments and townhouses at Synergy on Victoria Way, Charlton.

Jon Spring, Land Director for Fairview New Homes, said: “Gallions View represents an excellent opportunity to make an important contribution to the ongoing regeneration in Woolwich and Thamesmead at a time when the benefits from the arrival of Crossrail will be fully felt.
