Launch date set for major Park Royal development

A major new housing development within one of London’s biggest regeneration zones is set to launch in May.

Fairview New Homes is partnering with housing association L&Q to build 807 new apartments at Regency Heights, a new development in Park Royal.

Regency Heights is part of a wider scheme known as First Central, which includes a mixture of office space and residential developments, built on the site of the former Guinness factory on Lakeside Drive. 

Fairview will be building 499 studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments at Regency Heights with the first residents expected to move in to the development in autumn 2019.

The development also forms part of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation’s (OPDC) £26 billion regeneration plans to create a new district in west London.

This will see approximately 25,000 new homes built over the next four decades and transform the Old Oak Common Rail Depot in to a major interchange station with Great Western services and the only high-speed rail interchange in the UK served by Crossrail and HS2 services.

Set across three tower buildings, Regency Heights will comprise a mixture of studio, one, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

The development is less than a 10-minute walk from Park Royal and Hanger Lane Underground stations.

The new Old Oak Common interchange hub, which is set to open in 2026, will be just two miles from the development and host direct access to major cities including Birmingham and Manchester.
