Christmas carols choir bring community cheer in Buntingford
Festive cheer was in the air at a housebuilder’s Christmas community event in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.
Residents and visitors to Fairview New Homes’ development The Village, located off London Road, came together on Saturday evening to sing seasonal carols and get into the Christmas spirit.
Guests enjoyed hot drinks and refreshments provided by the housebuilder, while children who attended each received a Christmas gift.
Andy Georgiou, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “It was fantastic to see so many people come out and support our seasonal community event in Buntingford.
“The Village has become its own community within a community in Buntingford, so it was nice to be able to do something to get everyone together at the development and celebrate this special time of year.”
Among the visitors to The Village were some members of the Mustard Seed Singers, a group of people who put on concerts locally to raise money for the benefice churches, charities and other worthy causes.
Jan James, one of the singers, said: “It was lovely to have been invited by Fairview to lead the singing of some favourite festive songs at their Christmas event at The Village. Everyone seemed to enjoy the community singing and it would be great if this became a Village tradition.”
Fairview is building a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom homes at The Village, where prices currently start from £276,000.
The developer has recently launched a brand-new collection of just 17 apartments at The Village, which can be directly accessed off London Road at the southern edge of the development.
